PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY OF A CREDIT ANALYST:

Collection and accounts receivable

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.):

  • Monitor and collect on past due accounts
  • Utilize strong Excel capabilities, including knowledge of spreadsheets, formulas, VLookups, and pivot tables, to identify and resolve invoicing and shipping issues
  • Access and Use of Dealer Portals
  • Processes and investigates chargebacks on accounts
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Release orders, approve orders for shipment based on account status
  • Post daily cash receipts

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Other duties as assigned

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to prioritize daily duties with minimal supervision
  • Provide collection results without jeopardizing customer service standards
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate the English language in a clear and effective manner
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship skills

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of credit and or accounts receivable functions. Must be able to read and write English. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential job duties satisfactorily.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A High School diploma or equivalent with college level accounting courses is preferred. Five years or more of previous credit experience and/or customer service is required.

 

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED:

PC skills required including knowledge of Word

Strong knowledge of Excel - company developed TEST will be required

System used: Microsoft Dynamics AX

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed primarily within an office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain communication on telephone via headset. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employees must occasionally lift/push/pull or carry up to ten (10) pounds.  

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This position reports directly to the Credit Manager.
