PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Trade Show and Event Coordinator is responsible for the successful representation of the Danner and LaCrosse brands to our customers, consumers and stakeholders.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.):

  • Trade show management coordinate all show details with appropriate vendors, including managing contracts, maintaining deadlines, and planning show presence with management team. Coordinate accommodations, meetings, customer/rep dinners and other group events as needed. Facilitate preparation of all materials for the show, including product, graphics, accessories, booth properties, display units and sales support materials. Manage support teams for set up and take down.
  • Trade show support materials work with brand managers, creative team and vendors to coordinate materials delivery, maintain deadlines, and project manage key show deliverables.
  • Consumer and Regional show support work with Sales and Marketing managers to effectively leverage regional trade and consumer shows. Provide direction for brand presence, booth property management and product selection. Ensure unified brand presence at the consumer level.
  • Planning maintain event schedule and analyze results of events; recommend future improvements
  • Communication clearly communicate plans and expectations for trade shows, meetings & events to all attendees and management team.
  • Data and budget management - maintain individual show, project budgets and related record keeping.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have knowledge and familiarity with software and other tools
  • Outdoor or work products category experience preferred but not necessary
  • 30-40% travel required
  • Must be dependable and team oriented
  • Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1 - 3 years of related experience preferred

Bachelor degree preferred.

 

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED:

MacOS Computer

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally work in distribution as business fluctuations warrant. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This position reports directly to the Sr Marketing Manager Market Development.
