Manage all aspects of routing orders in a warehouse environment in accordance with time obligations and compliance to effectively meet customers' expectations..



  • Manage customer routing, portals and schedules for all outgoing freight.
  • Prepares any special documents as required for each shipment and performs audits of freight to ensure customer compliance.
  • Manifests orders in system and prepare bills of lading and packing lists.
  • Schedules pickups with local and international carriers.
  • Manage all drivers upon arrival and departure for all scheduled pickups.
  • Facilitates between the Warehouse Personnel, Supervisors, Manager and carriers to assist with smooth flow of shipments throughout each working day.
  • Prepares all export documents for shipments as needed. Communicates with personnel in all departments as needed to ensure that export shipments to customers are dispatched with the proper documents for brokers and customer clearance as needed.
  • Manage and conducts QC checks on all LTL shipments and provides feedback to Supervisor if out of compliance.
  • Manage and maintain all documents and files with customer compliance manual, including instructions with updated routing requirements and information.
  • Establish and manage SOP's for all Customer Routing. Review routinely to ensure they are continuously maintained and updated.
  • Support On-Boarding of new customers. Ensuring system ability to be compliant with vendor agreements and requirements, including new routing portals. Creating new routing guide and update customer files with documented requirements.
  • Manage customer VAS requirements and verify all required processes are being followed. Notify the Distribution Manager and/or Supervisor of any problems prior to shipments not meeting expected timelines. Provides any follow up communication to ensure proper documentation.
  • Assists Distribution Supervisor and Lead with daily labor needs to achieve customer expectations.
  • Communicates and confirms any special loading requirements to Distribution Associates.
  • Act as backup for order management to lead coordinator whenever needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential job duties satisfactorily in a Distribution Center environment. Environmental factors:

  • Working with and around powered industrial trucks and equipment
  • The employee frequently is required to use arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel or reach
  • The sensory requirements for this position include vision, hearing, and touch
  • Frequently lifting, standing, bending and walking up to 8 hours a day on a concrete floor
  • Must be able to lift/pull 50 pounds with no restrictions
  • The ability to operate all PIT equipment and or be trained as needed.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • 2 + years in routing freight and familiar with customer routing systems.
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required.



The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the nature of the warehouse environment, temperature fluctuation can be extreme in cold or hot weather.
