PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The LaCrosse marketing manager will play a critical role in creating content, developing meaningful stories, launching new products and driving sales for the brand. They must be passionate about connecting with the people who love LaCrosse the men and women who truly live a life outdoors. They see LaCrosse as a hunt lifestyle brand, supporting their passion in season and aligned in their care for home and family, hard work and a commitment to leaving the land better than when they found it.

A strategic thinker and excellent communicator, this person will develop and execute all marketing communications activities specific to the LaCrosse brand across all categories. They will need to work cross-functionally with other members of the marketing, product and sales teams to ensure efficient and consistent messaging, building our stories to drive demand creation efforts, wholesale and retail marketing programs, and development of effective sales tools, packaging and collateral materials.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns in alignment with new product launches and sales strategies; plan and implement campaign asset needs, manage timelines, review and share results.
  • Collaborate with all category and functional leaders to support consistent brand strategy and voice in messaging across all owned, earned and paid outlets, working closely with outside creative agencies and vendors as needed.
  • Build and leverage relationships with sponsor partners, influencers and partner organizations as a means of expanding our connection and reach with consumers.
  • Engage cross-functionally with Direct / Ecom and Digital Marketing teams to maintain consistent brand messaging in every consumer engagement.
  • Manage paid media campaigns, including strategy, budget and added value opportunities.
  • Engage cross-functionally with D&S teams to develop forecasts based on planned marketing programs.
  • Develop branded visual merchandising and promotional material needs to support brand stories coordinate with wholesale marketing and creative teams to deliver against program goals.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale Marketing team to execute seasonal product launches and brand campaigns with key account partners.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale Marketing coordinator to communicate brand stories at relevant shows, select doors and consumer events.
  • Manage and track budget for LaCrosse brand and relevant product categories, including annual and quarterly forecasts, PO requests and invoices.
  • Serve as key member of Lacrosse Footwear Inc. Marketing team; Participate in team meetings and planning; Support budget planning and tracking; Represent brand and marketing direction internally with other departments.
  • Take on other duties as needed. 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe software and other tools
  • Hunt product category experience required
  • 15-20% travel required
  • Must be dependable and team oriented
  • Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values  

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of marketing experience in marketing or related field

Education in marketing or communications, bachelor degree preferred

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:        

Position reports to Director of Marketing Operations
