PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Retail POS Technical Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting all retail POS systems software and hardware. This position will support a wide range of projects including retail stores, third party platform integrations, and CRM. The role will have the responsibility to support configuration, testing, documentation, and functional training for all retail store employees. In addition, this position will work closely with the broader Information Technology team on future enhancements and related impacts on back office systems.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Install and configure POS software and hardware
  • Support the store platforms including Point of Sale (POS), store payments, and digital applications
  • Maintain and update back office configurations as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with POS and back office systems
  • Oversee and support the store operation on day-to-day issues in D365 F&O
  • Train employees on how to use POS system
  • Provide all level 1 support to the retail team on POS system use
  • Work closely with the IT Application Team and the Retail Operation Team in planning changes to POS system

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years' experience in implementation or support of POS systems
  • At least one full end to end implementation of Cloud POS in the last 5 years desired
  • 3 years experience with D365 Finance & Operation
  • Experience and understanding of Retail Hierarchies, Assortments, Categories, Pricing, Promotions and Discounts
  • Experience in supporting multichannel retail and e-Commerce and related applications in the footwear, apparel, or related industry, with increasing responsibilities
  • Previous experience with Redmaple or Adyen payment technology, retail systems, physical inventory and store inventory planning / replenishment tool is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask in a collaborative environment, partnering with individuals from various departments
  • Experience and understanding with RFID process and Store Inventory
  • Experience with D365 F&O CRM desired
  • Self-motivated to identify problems, engage business owners, and drive to conclusion with support from IT management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities

EDUCATION & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • BS/BA in Business, Information Systems or equivalent with 5+ years of experience as a Technical Systems Analyst, or related role

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This position reports directly to Director of Information Technology.
