- POSITION SUMMARY:
- As DTC Sales and Merchandising Planner, you will support the ecommerce and retail sales channels by building and overseeing an effective DTC channel forecasting and sales planning process to ensure alignment across the organization in assumptions and sales outcomes. By forging strong, cross-functional relationships and rolling up your sleeves, you will create and maintain sales goals and forecasts, promotional models, and end-of-season lifecycle plans. You will assist leadership and work cross-functionally to create challenging yet achievable annual and seasonal sales targets that align with strategic objectives across our brands, categories and products. You will also participate in ongoing, cross-functional product and S&OP planning to represent the DTC channel's insights and priorities. This position reports to the Sr. Manager - Ecommerce & Customer Service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned):
- Support the ecommerce and retails teams by creating and maintaining accurate sales targets, forecasts, promotional models and product lifecycle schedules to inform better decisions.
- Assist leadership in creation of annual operating budgets, providing inputs and assumptions, and shaping goals.
- Set seasonal DTC channel sales targets across brands, categories and products.
- Own and deliver recurring sales forecasts in line with business trends, consumer demand, inventory supply, promotional plans, marketing campaigns, media spend and macro drivers.
- Plan and maintain product end-of-lifecycle process for DTC channel to maximize profitability.
- Measure actual sales results against plan and socialize insights to inform future marketing, promotional and visual merchandising decisions.
- Collaborate with performance marketing team to leverage media budgets and strategies in order to drive results in key products with a focus emphasis on new customer acquisition costs and profitability.
- Assist performance marketing and visual merchandising teams in creating seasonal go-to-market plans and merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with retail team management to optimize store-level merchandising assortments, forecasts and buying.
- Partner with product line managers to provide feedback reflective of the DTC channel's insights and priorities.
- Partner with Demand & Supply team to improve modeling of DTC channel demand and integrate with the company's overall demand planning process.
- Partner with teams across the organization to improve transparency and alignment in assumptions and sales outcomes.
- Participate in cross-functional S&OP and planning meetings to represent the insights and priorities of the DTC channel.
- Build excellent working relationships with Product, Marketing, Demand & Supply, Finance and Wholesale Sales teams.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
- 4 years merchandise / demand planning experience.
- Experience in omni-channel retail industry with an emphasis on DTC.
- Understanding of data visualization, and experience creating dashboards or other high-level business reports a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, forecasting, and reporting skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract, analyze and explain business trends and performance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Logility a plus.
- Proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent to create business decks and presentations.
- Ability to maintain excellent working relationships in a remote work environment.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently. Self-starter with excellent follow through.
- Excellent process and collaboration skills. Detail oriented and highly organized.
